The RM of Pipestone is made up of 4 towns, Reston, Pipestone, Sinclair and Cromer. We are a family-oriented community with strong oil and agriculture industries located 300 km southwest of Winnipeg. We have a K-12 school, a health centre offering primary health care and a Personal Care Home. We also offer daycare, pre-school education and an after school program for school aged children. Kids aged 6 - 12 also really enjoy our Summer Program, designed to keep them engaged and busy all summer long.
Quality of life is important too. We have beautiful nature trails, a splash park, Reston Lake, a golf course and a skate park for all to enjoy, free of charge. In the winter, you can join us at our skating rinks, enjoying hockey, figure skating and curling. Bundle up and go cross-country skiing on our trails or tobogganing on one of our snow hills. A movie theatre operates all year, showing hit movies at a budget friendly price. We have many playgrounds located in the RM of Pipestone. The Reston Memorial Park has a tennis court, basketball net and volleyball net. You can take a walk on the walking paths and take and exchange a book.
