The RM of Pipestone Skatepark was constructed in 2021.
It is located on the north side of the RES building, between 3rd and 4th Avenue. Please follow the rules posted and clean up your litter.

Reston & District Museum
Located in Reston on 9th Street, the museum is open to the public and is home to many pioneer displays. Large collection of local artifacts representing business, agriculture, and home settings. Adjacent to the museum sits the MacDonald House, built in 1896. The museum houses furniture and collectibles from the museum collection. There is also a large photo collection, some military memorabilia, early business artifacts, agricultural machinery, and native, home, and school artifacts. |
Reston Golf Course
Beautiful 9 hole course located off 1st Street in Reston. Cart rentals and pull cart rentals are available. After a round of golf, enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the licensed clubhouse, where a menu is available. Catering is available at the clubhouse for special occasions. Canupawakpa Trail
Located just east of Reston off #2 Highway on Rd 159W this self-guided nature trail winds for 1 km through riparian forest and bush and features rapids, beaver dams, towering elm, maple and ash trees, and a wooden bridge over the Pipestone Creek. Signs at each of the 12 "sites" outline the story of its heritage. A trip through the Canupawakpa Trail will be one remembered for a long time. |
Reston Memorial Park
The Park is located in Reston between 7th and 9th Street and 1st and 2nd Avenue. This five acre park was designed by Alf Archer in 1922 as a place where people could visit and view the names on the cenotaph of those memorialized from the 1914-18 war. Today, the park's serene atmosphere is surrounded by mature trees, many diverse shrubs and flowers. Within the park is playground equipment, tennis/basketball courts, picnic areas, outdoor theatre, and the Reston Museum/MacDonald House. Click here to view the Reston Memorial Park page. |
Reston Memorial Theatre
Located on 4th Street in Reston, the Memorial Theatre offers movie entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings. The theatre was built in 1946 and is one of the oldest in the area. Peanut Line Trail
2.7 KM Rough Cut Hiking Trail Built up along the growing railway at the turn of the last century, the community of Reston has a number of stories to share with visitors and locals alike. The pre existing rail line comes from the spur like of Wolseley, Saskatchewan that was affectionately known as 'The Peanut' because its whistle sounded like one from a peanut vendor's cart. Here you can walk along what was known as part of the Peanut Line. This out-and-back walking trail was first cut in 2018 and will continue to grow to include interpretive signage and more legs of the trail. |
