Overland Flood Advisory
As a result of heavy rainfall warnings, the Province of Manitoba has issued an “Overland Flood Advisory” for Western Manitoba, including the RM of Pipestone. The advisory is expected to run from June 29th through to July 1st.
While the RM of Pipestone is not likely to receive the heavy downfall of rain, we advise all residents to be alert to local flooding and to take precautions, as necessary. The RM will participate in daily briefing with the Manitoba Emergency Management Organization and will provide daily updates.
