2.7 KM Rough Cut Hiking Trail
Built up along the growing railway at the turn of the last century, the community of Reston has a number of stories to share with visitors and locals alike. The pre existing rail line comes from the spur like of Wolseley, Saskatchewan that was affectionately known as 'The Peanut' because its whistle sounded like one from a peanut vendor's cart. Here you can walk along what was known as part of the Peanut Line. This out-and-back walking trail was first cut in 2018 and will continue to grow to include interpretive signage and more legs of the trail.
