Pipestone is located at the junction of Highway #83, the longest continuous highway in the world, and Highway #2, a major east west route in Manitoba. Pipestone is a small rural community that has services to accommodate its residents, one major attribute is it's excellent water quality.

The Drop In Center and the Community Hall are two of the main features of Pipestone. The large Community Hall is used for all social functions in Pipestone and the surrounding communities. The Drop In Center is open all year with cards, pool, shuffleboard, visiting and relaxing.

A New Skating Rink is now open and is busy all season with figure skating and broomball.

A ballpark located on the north end of town hosts to many regular league games as well as tournaments. This is also where the annual Pipestone Fun Days takes place.
