Sinclair is located on No.2 Highway west of Reston and is approximately 10 km from the Saskatchewan border. The community is home to a post office, grocery store, plastic factory, and a busy automotive shop.  It is a very well maintained village.

The park and baseball diamonds are busy in the summer, as is the rink in the winter. There is a campground also within the community. The residents of Sinclair and the community are very adaptable and work hard to keep the little village alive.  A new community hall was recently constructed beside the community rink.  The community proudly hosts its annual Sinclair Redneck Days at the end of June.
